Is the Revuelto actually a bargin?

If you follow me, you will know the Revuelto didn’t wow me on release.
But, now, I think it’s a bargain. Why? Well read on to find out.
The Ferrari F80 is the most stunning release since maybe the Lamborghini Sian or new Countach. But it’s for a select group of loyal customers at a price point to match.
The McLaren W1 is also super exclusive. I’m not a fan of the looks but deeply respect the engineering.
Both the F80 and W1 are £3.5M and £2.5M respectively, produce in excess of 1,000bhp and are both hybrids. But neither have a historical V12.
Will owners drive or just exhibit these cars? Time will tell.
Now take the Lamborghini Revuelto.
If you like bragging rights, it produces 1,001 bhp and has a possible greater top speed than either the F80 and W1.
None of these stats matter in the real world.
Only three things matter-
looks good, sounds good, feels good.
So with this in mind, how it will go down outside a fancy club in Mayfair, London?
A Pagani will pull up. Men will look and a few children way past their bed time will look too. Nice.
A McLaren W1 will pull up. Again, men and car boy geeks will look. A Gathering.
A Bugatti Chiron will pull up. A show.
A F80 will pull up. Everyone will be milling around, taking selfies. The winner? Not quite…
Then, out of nowhere….
The Revuelto will show up. A car that’s 20% of the price of the Pagani, Bugatti, McLaren and Ferrari based on a 1970s wedge design from the brand that put scissor doors on the map.
Now, grandad is excited as he reconnects with memories of his Countach. Beautiful women are posing for their photo to be taken with those signature Lamborghini scissor doors up.
The underdog has disrupted the establishment again!
You see, no one misses fine dining when they are hungry. They miss steak and chips, McDonalds or a kebab - something that tastes familiar and harks back to their childhood.
That’s the Revuelto. It’s classic Supercar.
It’s big, wide, wedge shaped, unapologetic and most importantly- people get it. Children get it. Grandparents get it. I get it.
That’s why it’s a bargain.
